I just found Princess Toadstool’s dildo in Super Mario RPG. I am pleased.

This Halloween I’m pretty much going to be me.

This racist shit ain’t cute.
I mean what did you expect the NDN community to say to this when you tagged it #Native American?
“No it’s cool. Keep perpetuating a stereotyped, culturally-appropriated image of NDN women as hypersexual. It’s not like we’re 3.5 times more likely to be raped or anything (80% of which are committed by non-native rapists)”?

Depictions like this are hurtful.
Dressing up in redface is hurtful. Wearing ‘war paint’ is hurtful. Dressing up as another race by wearing terribly stereotypical caricatures of what you think that race looks like is not appropriate. When you dress up like this and take photos like this it adds one more images to the ponderous pile of this shit that creates the pervasive cultural notion that this is what people should think of when they hear ‘Native American’ , and IT HURTS REAL NATIVE AMERICAN PEOPLE. It creates, in the minds of the people that see you dressed like this, a stereotype - a caricature of what Native people do/should look like that erases us in reality and removes us from their perception of the modern world. It turns ‘Native American’ into someone wearing beads and headbands and feathers and face paint. It turns an ethnic, racial identity into a costume.
This is racism.

Perpetrating racism against myself? That’s like accusing someone like Lil’ B, who makes extremely self aware, light hearted, and innocuous plays on modern black culture of being racist against himself. This generation of pre-hurt, insecure internet faggots are some of the most nauseatingly self-righteous lot of faggots; they’re like the Westboro Church if they were afraid to go outside and get sunlight. The assumption that Native people are going to regain prominence through pissing and moaning is weak, tepid, and not what I feel to be Native at all. In fact, anyone  who uses that approach in any regard is a groveling fagtard. Assert yourself, and pay homage to the Native culture through keeping alive its ethos. This country was founded on cultural homogeny—obviously there needs to be a balance and finesse in social integration but to get hung up on the poor choices of the older, less savvy whites is a grudge I’ve yet to see anyone really prosper from. If you’re still insisting on the static marriage of ethnicity and culture in modern times where cultural homogeny is now international then you’ve been left behind by at least two hundred years you archaic fuckwit.
I like being known as the Native boy who bikes to work 10 miles a day, eats immaculately healthy, has a balanced temperament, and approaches his job with such attention to detail and efficiency that I am the district trainer for my job. I like being known for my hearty laugh. I like being able to help struggling Greenpeace volunteers with a strong artie sunrise. That’s how I want the ethos of Native people to come across to people. I don’t need people to know who I came from by what Anthropologists have said of my ancestors in a much different chronological context, and how inconsolable and stifled I am from ever achieving anything.
Pay your respects to the Native Spirit by living for it, not by brandishing it from a fucking laptop.(PS most people think I’m filipino anyways ololo)

HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT A GOOD POST

It’s really satisfying that, out of all the ridiculous shit I post, this is the post I’ve made with the most notes. Also, remember to help the Native American people regain their prominence in the world by clicking the “donate” button on this headstrong independent girl’s blog LOL
